This trip was my first visit to the sea and my first date with it. I was lucky to be there for more than 3 weeks. It was a few kilometers from Yevpatoria on the shore of a picturesque bay. So my first plein-air at sea was at the Black Sea. It was in 2008 and I was going to the 4th year of the institute and painted from morning to evening. That's a pity that not all of those 45 sketches were preserved even in the photo — many of them were sold at once.
